Industrial Romance Same Love Styled Shoot

Often when we do styled shoots we work with models. And don’t get me wrong- the models we have worked with do an amazing job! But you can’t fake real love. When Shayne from Soiree by Souleret asked if we’d participate in an editorial shoot bound for local Pittsburgh blog Same Love Weddings featuring this beautiful couple, we couldn’t say no. Throw in the opportunity to create a killer installation on SLATE Studio’s blank white wall and a velvet linen and we were ready to go!

This shoot was produced way back in 2018. Admittedly, our blog game has been pretty much non-existent until this year. Thus, for Pride Month, we wanted to dust it off and share it to show our love of all love.

I, Stephanie, also wanted to take this opportunity to share a sentiment that has always been woven into the fabric of The Blue Daisy Floral Designs but, foolishly, was never written for public view. We are an inclusive business. And now we happily have an inclusivity statement on our About page that reads:

I hope these words open the door for anyone that feels they might not belong. You are welcome and wanted on our couch, our social feed, and in our lives. Whoever you are.
