About Amanda

Amanda Scanlon brings a thoughtful, design-driven approach to floral work, shaped by her degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and seven years of experience in the field. Her background informs a strong sense of structure, movement, and natural composition—elements that translate seamlessly into her floral designs.

With a creative foundation spanning graphic design, drawing, and painting, Amanda approaches each project with both artistry and intention. Her experience working with a wedding planning company in Cincinnati further deepened her ability to guide clients in envisioning and designing meaningful, personal celebrations

As The Blue Daisy’s Brand & Merchandising Manager, Amanda plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of the shop, bringing a fresh perspective that inspires both design and customer experience.

Outside of the studio, Amanda enjoys exploring the Pittsburgh restaurant scene, spending time with her family and two young boys, as well as her two adopted boxer-mix pups.
