Looking for sophisticated garden party inspiration? Look no further than Maura and Alex’s gorgeous summer wedding day. The entire wedding day is a perfect combination of bright, fun, garden style, and sophistication. We had so much fun designing with beautiful summer flowers in shades of yellow, pink, cream, peach, blue, and green. The sophistication carried through the entire day with their bridal party attire, linens and draping, and elegant outdoor reception. No detail was forgotten here! That head table is STUNNING with all the beautiful lights and greenery suspended above. We kept the table decor fairly simple with a greenery runner and the girls’ bouquets for a pop of color. Plus, lots of candles provided a touch of romance and sophistication into the evening after the sunset.

To welcome guests to the dance floor, we added this gorgeous garden style floral swag to the tent. Talk about making a statement entrance!

We LOVE a dahlia and were thrilled to be able to use so many in Maura and Alex’s arrangements. They have a very limited growing season and do not travel well, so we source them locally as long as they’re available. Want to learn more about this magical flower? Check out our Dahlias blog post here!
