Luxe Citrus-Inspired Pennsylvania Wedding

Tuck’d Inn Farm | Cooksburg, PA

As a Pittsburgh wedding florist, we sometimes have the good fortune to travel to the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. Brand new venue, Tuck’d Inn Farm, located in Cooksburg, PA is the perfect spot for a lush and colorful wedding. We couldn’t have been more thrilled to be one of the first florists to make magic in their beautiful barn.

Planner Alyssa Thomas, of Alyssa Thomas Events, left out no detail for Brittany and Curt. Their citrus themed wedding was cohesive and stylish. Fruit was placed on the tables, lemons used as place card holders, and colors burst with summer vibes. Of course, Abbie Tyler Photography caught all of the shots. A whole dream team of Pittsburgh wedding vendors came together to help Brittany and Curt celebrate their love.

Brittany and Curt’s original date was in June. Her flowers were based on including Coral Charm Peonies. We had the pleasure of designing with the original look when the two officially tied the knot in June, but for the postponed wedding party, we swapped out the peonies for more seasonal dahlias. All locally grown!

These floral chandeliers were nearly eight feet in diameter. My husband, who was wrangled into helping us set up this day, spent four hours in a scissor lift with me designing them. He’s afraid of heights. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is!

Each guest’s chair had a chiffon drape and greenery tied with a satin bow.

Citrus and seasonal fruits were scattered on the tables to pull in the theme and color palette. Locally grown dahlias graced every arrangement.

Fun and colorful bar flowers welcomed guests for a drink.
